Welcome to IT 6843 Ethical Hacking course. In this course you will learn about major issues surrounding the use of penetration testing and common security challenges that an information security officer will face in his/her work.

There are 12 content modules in this course – one for each week, one project and one test. Before you can start the course, you have to agree to White Hat Agreement White hat

Online students should log into course in D2L within the first week of the class begin to confirm their attendance. There is no attendance monitoring, but your timely submission of assignments and labs and quizzes will be counted towards your presence and continued interests in the course.

Please read the syllabus. Check Calendar for due dates. Before you start the course, you have to complete the orientation that is included in Module 0 under Start Here.

The best way to navigate the content for this course is to use the CONTENT tab. On one screen you will see the entire content of the week and if the content is required or optional.

There is a virtual room where I will post the recorded lecture, see a screenshot below, you can reach there by selecting "Other"> "Collaborate Classic". You need to select "Recordings" tab to view list of available recorded lectures. I plan to record during in class section meeting each week.
